When installed by a trained stairlift engineer, yes stairlifts are very safe.
Our team at Mobility Scotland have been trained to the highest standard and rigorously test every installation for safety.
Yes, we offer stairlifts to fit most staircase types. They can travel round corners, spiral staircases and even across landings.
There’s no need to worry about being too heavy for our stairlifts as they can carry up to 25 stone (159 kilos) depending on which model you go for.
Since we tailor every stairlift to the shape, angle and space available, unfortunately we can’t give every customer the same price.
Typically a stairlift takes 1 to 2 hours to install, with more complex installations taking 4 to 5 hours.
