Profiling beds are similar to adjustable beds with additional features for those who are required to spend prolonged periods in bed. They have a greater range of positioning which allows for effective pressure care management. They can also be height adjustable which can aid care givers as well as give greater ease of access both in and out of the bed.
Rotating beds have all the functions and benefits of a profiling bed but have the added function of being able to transform from a lying position to an upright seated position. This is a great choice of bed if you are able to bear weight but struggle to transfer in and out of bed unaided.

An adjustable bed is similar to the standard bed you are probably used to with one key difference – the ability to adjust the sections of the frame.
A profiling bed, by comparison, is more medically focused and for those who require to spend prolonged periods in bed. The variety of positioning allows for optimum pressure care management. The addition of side-guards to protect you from falling out and wheels to move the bed between different rooms.
